The BACK 2 YOU remix projects has been set to show case and find the new breed of music producers today. Over the coming months we all be giving you the chance to remix some of the most influential music from the early days of the dance music scene. Coming up will be remix projects form some of the most respected dj’s and producers form today and yesteryear. Rufige Crew, 4 Hero, Manix, Nebula2, Nicky Black Market . . . . All form the mighty REINFORCED RECORDS stable.Producers, it's YOUR time
All producers are welcome to submit there remix which will be voted by you the producers and the public. This is a chance for all up and coming producers to show case there talents to the world of drum and bass and for all established producers a chance to re-mix history.
Winners
The final winners will be chosen by you the people who make up the music scene. Listen to the mixes and select your favorite choice. You may soon here it smashing up the dance floors.The 1st prize is a release on the mighty Reinforced Records/ Back 2 You label.
Sample packs
Due to the fact that most of these tunes are very old (in dance music terms) and have mostly created on technology that resembles the steam train in a historical sense we are creating new sample packs for each new project. These packs may not include the original samples but will be enough for you to make some heavy beats. We have asked all artists to hunt there archives and see what they can find but don't be to disappointed if the sounds you wanted are not there as they will have been lost in time. I know you all understand that these tunes were made on computers that could only now open a note pad document and still properly crash the computer.Each pack will include breaks, beats and sounds all at highest quality wav or mp3 format.Enjoy as the projects are here for you.
