One of the three Liberators, the original Acid Techno DJ’s, Aaron is the unsung hero of the scene, having DJ’ed for almost 20 years across the globe from squat party to rave, with uplifting, funky  Dj sets that have helped define the genre. As well as being the backbone of  the SUF Collective (with Chris) for over 11 years (behind all the biggest London techno labels and more besides, from Hydraulix and |R.A.W. to BlackOut Audio and SP Groove), running the seminal Liberator labels Stay Up Forever and Cluster, and the Nuclear Free Zone clubnight ( the U.K.’s’s longest running techno night), he has   produced some of the scene’s  hottest tracks.

STYLE :  plays FUNKY BOUNCY TECHNO and ACID TECHNO. Also plays occasional House sets, and party sets of Ragga and Hip-Hop.
HAS PLAYED : all over U.K. and Ireland, all over Europe, Japan, U.S.A., Russia, Brazil, Venezuela  and many other places and was one of the the first Acid Techno D.J’s to play in Russia and Czech Republic.

PRODUCTIONS : Aaron has produced with Geezer under the  name of CRASH ‘N’ BURN on Stay Up Forever, and AARON LIBERATOR and THE GEEZER  on Wah Wah, producing some of acid techno’s best loved tunes.He is also Daddy Spanners in his reggae-techno project with Geezer which produced  Highwire 12, the label’s biggest selling tune,as well as contributing to the Liberator DJ’s production credits.

PRODUCTION HIGHLIGHTS : “SANTA POD” (with Guy “Geezer” Mcaffer as Crash ‘N’ Burn), “Man bites Belgium”” (as Aaron Liberator and The Geezer, with Geezer) and “LICK IT” (as Jah Scoop and Daddy Spanners, with Geezer).

DJ MIXES : With the other Liberators he mixed the seminal Acid Techno cd’s, “It’s not intelligent, it’s not from Detroit…but it’s Fucking ‘Avin it!” 1 and 2, and the “Advanced Technologies” vol 1 on Input. He also mixed many of the Tec sampler Cd’s,and is about to do a compilation mix of his best Acid Techno tunes for 909london.com. 

LABELS : Runs STAY UP FOREVER and CLUSTER with Chris Liberator,as well as Super-Conductor and new acid label HIVE with Chris Liberator, and Wah Wah with Chris Liberator and Guy Mcaffer. 

DID YOU KNOW? : Aaron runs the SUF Collective of labels with Chris Liberator ,and has been responsible for managing and producing records for up to 23 of the  labels that form the backbone of the London techno sound for almost 11 years.. He is also involved with the new techno download site 909london.com bringing the sound of London’s Acid and Techno to the world directly on Mp3…He has played at and booked the UK’s longest running techno night NUCLEAR FREE ZONE at London’s 414 club in Brixton for almost 18 years..He only drinks Beck’s Beer and is the only male DJ and musician in the whole collective with long hair!
