Techno Producer and DJ, raised in London currently living in Buenos Aires. I host an online radio show “THE EL EXILIO TECHNO show” on fnoob.com, with guest mixes from DJ’s producers all over the world. I love techno and have done since I first heard it in the early 90’s. The first techno tune which really got me going was DJ H E L L ‘’s “Sprung Aus Den Wolken” – a delightful ditty around 150bpm which you could still play today and get people going. For me real techno is timeless, and alas also under appreciated. When I produce my first thought is, “can you dance to this”?.
I love all the main techno genres Detroit/London/German etc but I still don’t get new minimal and don’t think I ever will – its the emperors new clothes if you ask me. But to each their own, for me its real techno.
